目にかかる髪の毛も気にせずに首傾げ見ている子もかわいい。

艶やか服を着た上級国民の男の子が歩き回る光景や、誰かの腕の中で眠る美しい赤ちゃんもかわいい。

人形用の小さなテーブルや椅子も、池から摘んできた蓮の葉や色んな植物の小さな葉っぱもかわいい。

長い着物を着て部屋から飛び出てくる白顔の太った２歳児。袖は背中で紐で結ばれてる。

Or even the sight of them walking around with short kimonos with sleeves that look too long. They are all cute. A boy about eight nine or ten reading a book
out loud in their childish high voice.
あとちぐはぐな袖丈で走り回る子や、甲高い声で本を元気よく音読する子。
